Hearts to Him

I decided to move away from posting at “My Utmost for His Garbage can” for a couple of reasons: I expect the address has kept away some Oswald Chambers fans. But the main reason is that it I am past focusing on all that the cross has put away. My focus being directed to knowing Him and away from all else. So I changed to an address that more reflects this.

In the first Chapter of Ezekiel Spiritual Israel is represented by the four Living creatures. And YHWH is above.

“So their faces were. And their wings were spread upward.” Ez. 1: 11.

The Hebrew word behind “spread”  describes the way our faces and wings (which are full of eyes) are to be directed, has the same connotation as being separated. So may our faces and wings be separated unto knowing Christ.

So hearts  to Him,

“the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind” Isaiah 65:17.

If you would like to read my current posts, I have begun blogging at itsallhim.wordpress.com.

The Last Post

The work of the cross completely erased the life of man from God’s view and brought in the Life of the Spirit. Now Christ is present in you to live in your stead.

Man’s effort to live “for God”, in God’s stead, is the opposite of the will of God. This is completely flipped. Religion will continue to teach people to try to be pleasing to God by living “for” God, (as if God wanted to live vicariously?)

Anyway, I am over it.

Seeing our lack of Christ is not the same as seeing Christ. Only seeing Him can transform. It’s not about my utmost for anything. It is all Him.

This is my last blog post at this domain address.

From now I will be writing at itsallHim.wordpress.

If you want the link in , give me your you email address down in the “follow” tab @ http://www.itsallhim.wordpress.com.

The Lord is come.

I write to you to encourage all who are knowing Him in His coming.

Maran•atha is an Aramaic ‘greeting used in the early Church. You can find this term at the end of 1 Corinthians.

“If any one doth not love the Lord Jesus Christ–let him be anathema! The Lord hath come!” 1 Cor. 16:22 YLT

John writes, “By this know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ HAS come in the flesh is from God” 1Jn. 4:2-3 & 2 Jn. 1:7 LITV

He is writing about knowing the presence of the Spirit of Christ in you. The coming of Christ is not seen by the world after the flesh. Jesus plainly said,

“The world seeth me NO MORE; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also” Jn. 14:19 KJV and so Paul writes,

“Though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet from now on know we him NO MORE” 2 Cor. 5:16

Only in His appearing can we know Him living now in His Body, The Church.
His coming began at Pentecost, as it is written,

Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me?” Acts 9:4

When Jesus appeared to Saul of Tarsus He had already come to reside in union with His Body the Church.

There is a very practical out-working of the revelation of Christ. It is love.

In seeing Him in His coming, we can begin to love one another by loving Him.

“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth God, love his brother also.” 1 Jn 4:20-21.

You cannot love God and hate your brother because Jesus Christ presently resides in your brother as his very Life right now. We deceive ourselves in thinking that God is far off and separate from our brother. The Lord has come. Christ is in each brother who is truly born of God. Yes, I tell you, even in the one who is ignorant of His presence. So look to Him. Love Him.

You cannot truly love God or His Church without knowing Him in His appearing. If we see Jesus Christ as if He were far away, then we cannot love our brother by His Life.

Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs!” Jn 21:15-17 LITV

Jesus spoke this three times because He was showing Peter His union with His Sheep.

To feed His sheep is to feed Jesus, and love Jesus.

Jesus said this in many ways.

“The one receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives Him who sent Me” Mt. 10:40

“The King will say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me” Mt. 24:40

I am cut off from God if I am not knowing Him and loving Him in His coming. Look at how Paul is declaring we must love Him in one another by His Spirit.

“If any one doth not love the Lord Jesus Christ–let him be anathema! The Lord hath come!” 1Cor. 16:22 YLT

The Lord is come!

See and Believe Into Him

See Him. Believe into Him.

“This is the will of the One sending Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting Life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”Jn 6:40 LITV

In seeing the Son, the soul is filled with eternal Life. I love how the LITV shows again and again how Jesus was saying believe INTO the Son. Seeing Him transforms the soul.

This transformed soul cannot help but call out to others saying “come and see” the Son. Remember how Jesus’s first words to His disciples were,

“Come and see”Jn. 1:39?

And so, Phillip said to Nathaniel,

“Come and see”Jn. 1:46.

The woman at the well also said, Come and see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?” Jn. 4:29

My wife Judith was sharing with me how even when our eyes are in perfect health they cannot see unless there is light filling them.

The eye is not sufficient in itself to see. The soul is like the eye in this way. My soul can have correct doctrines and knowledge and have complete health in willingness but until the light of Christ fills this soul, there is no expression of Him.

The soul does not initiate His coming any more than an eye can initiate sight.

The agreement of the soul with the bible does not unlock the unveiling of Christ in you. That is out of order. The Father unveils, causes faith (seeing) to fill the soul. You cannot produce faith by reciting bible verses.

“I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” 2 Cor.4:13

The faith, is the faith of the Son of God. it is His seeing, filling the soul with light. And it is the person of light living in you. He is the fulness that fills. You or I do not cause Him to do anything in us.

Even the “the Son is not able to do anything from Himself, except what He may see the Father doing. Jn 5:19 LITV, So also “Apart from Me you are not able to do anything. Jn 15:5

Sufficiency is His, it is in Him. And though I wait on Him to know Him, I do not cause His filling or shining. I wait on Him. I look for Him. His appearing is only long in coming when I am not looking for Him, or when my confidence is misplaced. When I think I am the cause or I have something to bring to the table; when I have confidence in things I hold up my sleeve.

Working the works of God is to be filled with a finished work. Doing the truth is to express what has already been worked in Christ.

The one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.” Jn 3:21

Nothing eternal has its origin in man.

“We have such confidence through Christ toward God; not that we are sufficient of ourselves to reason of anything as from ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God, 2 Cor. 3:4

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals. And I heard one of the four living creatures, like a sound of thunder, saying, Come and see” Rev. 6:1-3

“From ‘the parts’ to the whole, from ‘the many’ to THE ONE. From the types&shadows, illustrations, parables, futures hopes and expectations unto HE WHO IS THE EXPECTED END of all of it. The ONE God always had in mind, in view…the real man, Jesus Christ! And we are not brought to more realizations about Him either, no. He Himself has come, AS HIMSELF, and it is indeed “the fulness of times”.

It is like me telling you Mike Tyson is the hardest hitting human on the planet. I testify to you, I witness about this. But you’re not convinced. The “hearing of words” is not sufficient. So I take you to Youtube and show you video after video of Tyson just knocking people out, one after the after. And as you watch the ‘evidence’ is overwhelmingly clear – yes, Tyson is the hardest hitting human ever. You’re convinced and you now agree with my testimony. I have presented overwhelming evidence in the form of types&shadows of this. But watch as many videos as you want, imagine as hard as you can, bring into memory as a reference that fight you were in once in school, do all of this and still you are only in the testimony of Mike Tyson. Allow me to introduce you to the next level of all of this, indeed the final one, and that is where Mike Tyson himself walks into the room and punches you in the face!

Now you have substance!

You have partaken of the substance that is the punching power of Mike Tyson, of which the types&shadows of youtube videos and my own testimony could only point. And you are lights out. And at that moment, in which the substance comes and you’re knocked out by it, all the types&shadows ‘wrap up’, they conclude, they “…become all together useless” (1 co 13:10 YLT), you have absolutely no more use for them.

He, the substance, appears and it is apocalypse. Everything concludes in one instant. It is one thing to not know that Christ is life, that He is truly your only hearts desire. I lived in this state for many years and it was truly death unto death – hell! But then it pleased the Father “reveal the Son”, and He begin to open up the immeasurable testimony that is absolutely everything in the universe of Him. Israel, abraham, isaac, jacob, the promised land, the tabernacle, the ark, noah, creation, adam, etc etc etc. Quite literally everything in the universe is a type&shadow, pointing to Him. The Spirit, and forgive me, lays out His version of my Tyson youtube series in the testimony of Jesus Christ and we are convinced, we are in awe, we marvel! But brothers&sisters, here comes the conclusion of the matter, HE APPEARS! HE APPEARS! He Himself, actually, and it is over! Knocked out, ended. The entire testimony, all of it, wraps up, it concludes “in the light of the knowledge of the glory of God IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST”

Thank You Brother Otto

The Comforter is Christ in you

You Don’t Live Where The Devil Lives. You are in Christ. He is the Way.

“A highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for the redeemed: the wayfaring men, yea fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up thereon; they shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there.” Is. 35:8-9 ASV.

Are you being challenged to go out and fight the enemy? Do not go out with them!

Those who are battling the devil lead many off of the high ground of our sure foundation in Christ. Abide in Christ.

“The prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing IN Me” Jn. 14:30

“Now is the judgment of this world: NOW shall the prince of this world be CAST OUT.” Jn. 12:31

The prince of this world was cast out a long while back. It came at the cross. The cross was our end. Of course there are many who dwell in the flesh in earth. But this is not where you stand. You are not of the world even as Christ is not of the world.

“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world” Jn. 17:14

“When the comforter “is come, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment. Concerning sin, because they do not believe INTO Me” (LITV) “Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world HATH BEEN judged” Jn. 16:8-11 YLT.

The enemy is more than man’s definition of “judged.” Our measly idea of “judged” is of someone who has been arrested, convicted but has yet to be put to death. In Christ’s death the enemy has been put to death.

“That through death He might destroy (2673 καταργέω: katargéō) the one having the power of death, (that is, the Devil); and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery” Heb. 2:14-15.

The word “might” does not suggest that Jesus “might have” rendered the devil powerless. As if he also might not have? The only uncertainty here is in the hearts of men. In seeing Him, there is no question of the surety of this “secret place” Ps 91:1. To say that the enemy has any ground brings accusation against Christ Himself. The CLV better communicates the meaning here.

“That through death He should be discarding him who has the might of death, that is the Adversary, and should be clearing those whoever in fear of death, were through their entire life, liable to slavery” Heb. 2:14:16

The KJV translators used the uncertainty of “might” because destruction of the enemy is continual in this realm, in the sense that Soldiers will continue to fight for their life until the end of the war appears to them, or they are dead. Both of which are accomplished in His Appearing. The devil is defeated in those who are knowing Christ in His triumph. In reality all warfare is accomplished.

In Christ the war is over!

Do you dispute this eternal fact? Then the devil is living in your head rent free. It is so grievous to me when precious believers loose sight of Him in His Appearing, just to drag others back to a war that was won long ago.

“Then “the Lawless One” will be revealed, “whom” “the Lord” “will consume” “by the spirit of His mouth,” and He will bring to nought (2673 καταργέω {katargéō) by the brightness of His presence (or coming)” 2 Thess 2:8 LITV Is. 11:4.

Paul was telling the Church that the destruction of the enemy is the same as being “consumed” in His appearing. The enemy (me) is destroyed because we, were the soulish man, the son of perdition standing in the temple of God exalting himself over everything being called God, or object of worship, so as for him “to sit in the temple of God” as God, proclaiming that he himself is God. 2 Thess. 2:4, Dan. 11:36; Eze. 28:2

“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” Jn 14:18

The comforter is come. And this comforter comforts. As in,

“Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare IS ACCOMPLISHED that her iniquity is pardoned: for she HATH received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins” Is. 40:1-2

The Comforter is Christ in you. He is the Gospel. The coming of the Comforter is our end; we are dead with Christ. One of the things the Comforter shows us in His appearing is that our “warfare is accomplished.”

If your warfare is not accomplished, then you have yet to enter into His rest.
And you are not seeing Him.

“Little children, let no one lead you astray; the one practicing righteousness is righteous, even as that One is righteous. The one practicing sin is of the Devil, because the Devil sins from the beginning. For this the Son of God was revealed, that He undo the works of the Devil. Everyone who has been begotten of God does not sin, because His seed abides in him, and he is not able to sin, because he has been born of God” 1 Jn. 3:7-9 LITV.

In Christ you are not able to sin because in Christ you are D E A D;

DEAD! You are already crucified with Christ. The process is over. Their is no hope except in Christ.

Abide in Him. Be occupied with Him. This is no promise of sunshine and gumdrops in your circumstances! He has brought you beyond your end. This is the Gospel!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah,” (or “YHWH” TS) “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in YOUR latter end.” Jer. 29:11 ASV

The way we resist the enemy, self, is by abiding where he is not.

Father reveal your Son as “secret place of the most High” Ps 91:1.

Unto The King Eternal

The first kingdom was ruled by the natural, soulish man, Adam. Jesus Christ is our true David. He shall reign forever. This is the kingdom of God. By the work of the cross you have been translated out of the First into the Second.

It is the Spirit Who is speaking of the New Covenant when He writes,

“One king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their God. And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have One Shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them.” EZ 37:22-24. Zechariah also speaks of the Church as the House of David in the Day of The Lord.

“The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul from spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no created one is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account” Heb. 4:12-13

This judgement separates two men. The first is at his core a soul, it was me and you. We were rejected from reigning. The Second is the spiritual man, it is Christ. Jesus said,

“many who are first will be last, and the last first.” Mt. 19:30, Mk. 10:31

These two men are also two houses.

Remember how the tabernacle had seven parts: the veil and the things outside speak of the first. The furniture outside the veil was five-fold. But the ark of the testimony within holy of holies testified of the second Man, the New Covenant, the kingdom of our true David, Christ Jesus.

First, the tent of meeting, (its coverings, including the veil) was made, (see Ex. 36:8-38).

Second, “Bezalel made the ark.” Ex. 37:1

This is a magnified a view of Him in His Body.

“THE FIRST tabernacle was prepared, in which was both the lampstand and the table, and the setting out of the loaves, which is called holy” Heb. 9:2.

“But behind THE SECOND veil is a tabernacle, that called Holy of Holies” Heb. 9:3 LITV

This is about God’s separating the outward form from the very Life and power of the Spirit. This same division is also between the tabernacle of Moses (durring the kingdom of Saul) and the tabernacle of David.

These two houses testify of two men.

“It is sown a soulish body, it is raised a spiritual body; there is a soulish body, and there is a spiritual body. So also it has been written, “The” first “man”, Adam, “became a living soul;” the last Adam a life-giving Spirit. Gen. 2:7 But not the spiritual first, but the soulish; afterward the spiritual. The first man was out of earth, earthy. The second Man was the Lord out of Heaven” 1 Cor. 15:44-47.

Seeing the order also clarifies some things concerning the meaning of the garments of the high priest on day of atonement.

All the first coverings in blue, and purple, and crimson, and white is in regard to the outward natural service.

The white garments declare how God doesn’t need the outward natural man. He has what He wants in the spirit of Christ.

The white garment is the ministry of the Spirit. No man. it is Christ alone: “there was none to help”.

“Be not far from Me; for trouble is near; because NO ONE IS THERE TO HELP.” Ps. 22:11

“Who is this coming (out) from Edom(=red Adam Esau) Isaiah 63:1

David writes “Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee” Ps 73:25

“I have trodden the winepress, I alone, and NO MAN of the peoples was with Me” (vs 3)

No man helps God only “the Spirit helps us in our weakness” Rom.8:26

“I look attentively, and there is NONE HELPING, And I am astonished that there is none supporting, And give salvation TO ME doth Mine own arm” Is 63:5 YLT

After atonement was made the High priest came out from the holy of holies, out of heaven, washed then he put on the garments of beauty and glory. Then he came into the camp. Lev. 16:24

This speaks of the Spirit of Christ putting on His Body, the Church.

“Lift up round about thine eyes and see, All of them have been gathered, They have come to thee. I live, sayeth YHWH! Surely all of them as an ornament thou puttest on, And thou bindest them on like a bride” Is. 49:18 YLT.

So as individual souls we all died and have been placed into Christ. He is now our Life, a completely new home. As it is written,

“God settles the solitary in a home;
he leads out the prisoners to prosperity” Ps. 68:6 and also

“Through faith we walk, not through sight– we have courage, and are well pleased rather to be away from the home of the body, and to be at home with the Lord.” 2 Cor. 5:7-8

He has saved us “out of” our soulish “dwelling places” in which we sin.Ez. 37:23. This is not fulfilled after physical death, it is now as we see that we died with Him in the cross.

What is that happened in His death and resurrection? The cross permanently removed the first king from the second.

Acts 13:22 “And removing him (Saul, the kingdom of the first man), He raised up to them David for a king, to whom He also said, witnessing, “I found David” the son of Jesse ” to be a man according to My own heart, who will do ALL My will.” See also 1 Sam. 13:14

The removal of the first king/man was about the work of the cross. So the garments of the first house were left torn.

“Behold , I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. ” Ps. 40:7, Heb. 10:7

The Adamic soul, my soul, says, “I must do do do.”

Hear the heart of the first King:

“I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering” 1 Sam. 13:12.

The soul that is a vessel of the Spirit, is in His rest. The soul in Christ simply says, “Done.”

See the heart of the second:

“I am mute; I do not open my mouth, for it is You who have done it.” Ps. 39:9 ESV

It is Not About You

“With Christ I have been crucified, yet I am living; no longer I, but living in me is Christ.” Gal. 2:20 CLV.

If you look at this verse in an interlinear look for the word “I” . The original word is “ego” (1473 Greek for “I” & “me”). Paul only used this word one time in this sentence. Only once. There is no other I or me in this sentence, except following a very emphatic “NOT I.” No longer me.
NO ego but Christ. Not me and my friend, Jesus working together. It is not I but Christ who liveth.

No longer ego.

I “the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But He that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet He Himself is judged of no man.

Remember how the term “natural” here is the soulish man? 5591 psychikós (the adjective form of psyche) A soulish man is, at his core, a soul.

He that is Spiritual is, at His core, the Spirit. He that is spiritual has many souls and One body. The only Spiritual man is Jesus. “In my Fathers House there are many dwellings” There are many souls that are One House. One vessel of this One Spirit. He that is Spiritual is One New Man.
He is completely other than the soulish man. You as a soul are complete in Him. In your experience, in the realization of reality He is faithful to complete in you what is already done. But man’s realization is not absolute. Reality is absolute. God’s eternal perspective is reality.

Paul wrote,”But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged of you, or of man’s judgment: yea, I judge not mine own self. For I know nothing by myself; yet am I not hereby justified: but He that judgeth me is the Lord. Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts” 1 Cor. 4:3-5

It seems so arrogant to the soulish man to disregard the judgement of men, but the Spiritual man understands that man cannot truly measure anything, We understand nothing by outward appearance. Come to Him rest in His judgment. let go of your own judgment.

Paul does not even judge himself because what we are seeing outwardly counts for nothing. True judgment is much deeper than actions. It is now who is living.

It is either not I but Christ living or it is I and not Christ who is living.

“I am YHWH: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another” Is. 42:8

But this is foolishness to the first man.

All of this is perfectly illustrated in testimony.

The first king was Saul. At first he was moved by the Spirit from without but he trusted in the strength his own judgment more than Gods.
During his rule the tabernacle of Moses had become empty, at it’s core. The Ark of the covenant had departed from this first house. This house was in this condition because it represents the first man and His kingdom.

David was the right man. When David, the King, came, the second man, after seven years, David brought the Ark of the testimony up to it’s rightful place.

“David said, YHWH God of Israel has given rest to His people so that they may dwell in Jerusalem perpetually, and also to the Levites; None are to bear the tabernacle nor all its vessels for its service.” 1 Chron. 23:25-26

The tabernacle of David stood 33 years. This house had no veil, no outer court, no holy place. It was completely separate, completely other than the first house. This was the holy of Holies open for all to see. This man has an open heaven. When this house was thirty three years old it was torn down.

So Jesus of Nazareth came and put off both the soul and body of the first man in the cross. He completely separated Himself from the soulish man. And in Him we face this in His/our death.

“He that loveth his life (psyche/soul, same as psychikós just the noun form) shall lose it; and he that hateth his life (psyche/soul) in this world shall keep it unto Life eternal. If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I (ego) am, there shall also my servant be” Jn. 12:25-26

He is saying Where My ego is there shall also my servant be” We take up our daily cross in seeing and accepting we are dead. When we try to live close to Him, beside Him, near Him, or in any way independent from Him we are living a lie. Any soul that has a so called life separate or outside of Him has failed to deny self and is no longer taking up the cross.

Jesus said, “My Father works until now, and I work” Jn. 5:17

This is like a glove saying, the hand works until now, and I work. Because Jesus spoke out from the high ground of union in the Father, they sought to kill Him. If this had been an expression of separation, or independence, the world would have loved Him.

You are not partly dead. Death is absolute. You cannot be a little bit dead. You are complete in Him. Completely dead. And He is now completely our Life.

The first house, the first man, the first king was completely rejected. The table of shewbread, the candlestick and the veil did not transfer to the new house.

The Ark of the covenant was placed within a completely new creation. It was the same Ark. Like a seed placed within a new garden. This same Jesus lives forever and He alone is Spirit soul and Body. Sanctification is in this house. Everything without was new; ten times bigger. This is where the increase is. There were many lamp stands. But there was only one outer court. This house is One temple. This is His place. and so the staves are finally removed from the Ark. He sat down. So yes “YE are the temple” but this Ye is the Church. Not the individual. His eternal perspective sees only One living at its core. So it is written,

“Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Acts. 9:4

The Church is Him, His Resurrection Body. Not why do you persecute us. No. This is the Fathers house. The many are but One new man; Spirit, soul and body.

The path, the stony, thorny ground, was completely put off, and taken away. It cannot be made good. The good ground is a new creation in Christ. This is the high ground it is already taken. His glory fills the temple. And no man can minister therein. He fills His house Spirit soul and Body. We have no part to add to Him.

Solomon’s temple represented One New Man, Christ Himself Living, Not a new kind of men.

A clearer picture is
The wife of the Lamb

“He carried me in spirit on to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, holy Jerusalem, coming down out of Heaven from God, having the glory of God. And its light was like a very precious stone, as a jasper stone, being clear as crystal” Rev. 21:10-11

The living stones in the city are clear. The living water is clear. Yes. many souls, many vessels. But the many are not seen. In the eternal perspective One is seen.

One Light is seen.

The city is one tremendous chandler of Him of transparent vessels. Be not offended by the Light. He is the Glory and beauty of His House.

Lift Up Your Eyes

“He said to them, The one having ears to hear, let him hear. And when He was alone, those around Him, with the Twelve, asked Him as to the parable. And He said to them, To you has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God. But to these, those outside, all things are being given in parables, that seeing they may see and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand, lest they should convert, and the sins be forgiven to them. (Isa. 6:9, 10)
And He said to them, Do you not know this parable? And how will you know all parables?

The sower sows the Word. And these are those by the wayside where the Word is sown. And when they hear, Satan comes at once and takes away the Word having been sown in their hearts. And likewise, these are the ones being sown on the stony places, who, when they hear the Word, they immediately receive it with joy, yet they have no root in themselves, but are temporary. Then trouble or persecution having occurred through the Word, immediately they are offended. These are those being sown into the thorns, those hearing the Word, and the cares of this age, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts about other things entering in, they choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful. And these are those being sown on the good ground, who hear and welcome the Word and bring forth fruit, one thirty, and one sixty, and one a hundredfold.” Mk. 4:9-20

In the parable of the sower, the “good ground” is Gods vinyard, the Church. His parable is not an admonition for us to resist the devil, remove the cares of this world, or the deceitfulness of riches, and to endure persecutions. All the unfruitful ground is Adam. The first man doubts, lusts after the world and gets offended. The judgement of the cross permanently separated the unfruitful ground from the good ground.

Unfruitful soil is a heart who identifies in the first man and the first, Old covenant age instead of the Day of Christ.
the anxiety of THIS AGE, and the deceit of riches, choke the Word, and it becomes unfruitful” Mt. 13:22

The cross ended that age and separated the two earths forever.

“But now once for all, at the completion of the ages, He has appeared for putting away of sin through the sacrifice of Himself.” Heb. 9:26

The Seed cannot grow in Adam. Look at the original language, especially in Luke 8, falls “on” the wayside, “on” the rocky soil, “among” the thorns then “into” the good earth. It is by the work of Christ that you have died, and been translated out of the stony thorny path in Adam, and placed into His vineyard, the Church which is His Body. This ground bears fruit unto God, Rom. 7:4.

The parable of the sower is an abiding parable.

“We ourselves have the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust on ourselves, but on God, the One raising the dead.” 2 Cor. 1:9.

Soil has NO ability to improve itself. Except for the Seed, soil is completely dead. The Husbandman is the Father He is the sower, He works the soil and makes His ground good. We can only abide in His vineyard. In this rest, we are made the vessel of His increase.

“He said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground; And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear. ” Mk. 4:26-29

In this parable, we are “the man” sowing the Gospel, we are not the soil. “the man”, here is not Christ.

Jesus intimately knows how the seed springs and grows.

In this parable, it is the Seed and His work that produces the increase. This garden “bringeth forth fruit of herself. It is the Seed’s effort growing and turning to the light. Good ground is so filled with the planting of the Lord that there is no room for the seed of another to take root.
In this parable He makes no mention of the one preaching the Gospel toiling over the ground to make it good. He speaks of a wonderful rest, and a participation in the work of the Seed. In knowing Him, we rest; We “sleep and rise” in The Seed’s death and resurrection, night and then in the Day of The Lord.

When He says, “he knoweth not how. For the earth bringeth forth fruit of herself,” is He not emphasizing how the Seed produces without our help or labour?

“I sent you to reap that whereon ye bestowed NO labour: other men (Christ alone) laboured, and ye are entered into their labours” Jn. 4:3

I have really poor soil where I live. It’s like gravel in clay, nothing grows without completely replacing the soil.
I was working for this lady who had thoroughbred race horses and they had cleaned out there stalls and dumped horse manure in one place for more than 15 years, so it had composted completely. It looked like a huge pile of coffee grounds.
She said to me,

“We’re moving take as much as you want!”

I had never seen anything like it. Now this was good ground. It was so fluffy that I could push my arm in up to my elbow and pull out hand fulls of worms. I shoveled a truck load full and when my daughter was playing in it she blurted out “Dad. This soil is BURSTING with life!

Any way I hauled in this soil and made flower gardens for my wife with it, and as I was making “raised” beds, He began to show me where the good ground is.

It is above, in Heavenly places in Christ. Good ground is in Him. It is completely other than Adam.

But we will ask, How can He be both the Seed and the soil?

In the same way as He is both the offering and the offerer. He is all. He is even the hearing ear.

The Seed sown gives His identity to the ground it is sown into. When wheat is sown into the soil. There is a transformation. It has become a “wheat field.” Before the harvest; Before there is grain, before even the first blade is manifest. It is finished. It is a wheat field because the Seed is now present. If He is in you then you are His, and when He appears you fully know it is not because of your doing. Do not look at yourself with natural sight to see if you are manifesting His Life. We need to turn away from looking for manifestations and trust Him. Lift up your eyes. He is come. And so Christ is in you. He is already the increase of the cross. He is enough. The increase of Christ is part of the finished work.

“Thou hast increased the nation, O LORD, thou hast increased the nation: thou art glorified: thou hadst removed it far unto all the ends of the earth.” Is. 26:15

“Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest. behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest” Jn. 4:35

I Love the “Of”

I so enjoy the view of Jesus in what seemed to be the most mundane rituals of the Old Testimony of Christ.

What was a desert to me is come to be like a flourishing garden in His view. The Father has always declared His Son in those rituals. Wherever I did not see Him, and His work. I assumed it was about me and my responsibility.

In Christ (the Person of the Gospel) “the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to Faith” Rom. 1:17

In saying from “faith to Faith.” Paul is saying the same thing when he describes being brought from “glory to Glory” 2 Cor. 3:18.

Both are expressions that describe coming from the first to the Second; coming from “faith” (the first, a Testimony of Christ, in the natural realm) to “the Faith of the Son of God” Gal. 2:20 (God’s own seeing).

I have found at least a dozen times where translators have changed what was written about the faith “OF” God into a faith “in” God. Here are a couple examples:

“Even the righteousness of God through faith OF Jesus Christ toward all and upon all those believing; for there is no difference” Rom. 3:22 LITV.

“Having known also that a man is not declared righteous by works of law, if not through the faith OF Jesus Christ, also we in Christ Jesus did believe, that we might be declared righteous by the faith OF Christ, and not by works of law, wherefore declared righteous by works of law shall be no flesh” Gal. 2:16 YLT.

“But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith OF Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe” Gal. 3:22-22 YLT.

“And be found in Him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith OF Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith” Php. 3:9

Just believing the right words does not make the difference between coming from faith to Faith. Neither does changing our concepts. But coming from faith to faith is far more than coming from my faith to His. It is coming from seeing Spiritual things in the Light to seeing Him.

It is light reflected from objects into our eyes that enables us to see. There is a turning from the objects reflected to see the Light Himself in the Appearing of Christ. This is more than a turning from our natural minds eye, our perception; and it is more than turning from the objects the Light illuminates, yes, even the message in our bibles. it is turning from this whole realm with its shadows of turning, even from His voice.

“And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw.” Rev. 1:12

Turn to see the One saying “I AM the Light of the world”

My daughter Gnomey says to me “You should never look into direct sunlight” so I said,

“Yes, if you look into direct Sonlight it will destroy your seeing.”

Coming from faith to Faith is not of man because it is His doing. This is a miraculous work. He is the source. It is His sight. It is “of” God.
