Hearts to Him

I decided to move away from posting at “My Utmost for His Garbage can” for a couple of reasons: I expect the address has kept away some Oswald Chambers fans. But the main reason is that it I am past focusing on all that the cross has put away. My focus being directed to knowing Him and away from all else. So I changed to an address that more reflects this.

In the first Chapter of Ezekiel Spiritual Israel is represented by the four Living creatures. And YHWH is above.

“So their faces were. And their wings were spread upward.” Ez. 1: 11.

The Hebrew word behind “spread”  describes the way our faces and wings (which are full of eyes) are to be directed, has the same connotation as being separated. So may our faces and wings be separated unto knowing Christ.

So hearts  to Him,

“the former things shall not be remembered or come into mind” Isaiah 65:17.

If you would like to read my current posts, I have begun blogging at itsallhim.wordpress.com.

The Last Post

The work of the cross completely erased the life of man from God’s view and brought in the Life of the Spirit. Now Christ is present in you to live in your stead.

Man’s effort to live “for God”, in God’s stead, is the opposite of the will of God. This is completely flipped. Religion will continue to teach people to try to be pleasing to God by living “for” God, (as if God wanted to live vicariously?)

Anyway, I am over it.

Seeing our lack of Christ is not the same as seeing Christ. Only seeing Him can transform. It’s not about my utmost for anything. It is all Him.

This is my last blog post at this domain address.

From now I will be writing at itsallHim.wordpress.

Maran•atha

The Lord is come.

I write to you to encourage all who are knowing Him in His coming.

Maran•atha is an Aramaic ‘greeting used in the early Church. You can find this term at the end of 1 Corinthians.

“If any one doth not love the Lord Jesus Christ–let him be anathema! The Lord hath come!” 1 Cor. 16:22 YLT

John writes, “By this know the Spirit of God: every spirit which confesses that Jesus Christ HAS come in the flesh is from God” 1Jn. 4:2-3 & 2 Jn. 1:7 LITV

He is writing about knowing the presence of the Spirit of Christ in you. The coming of Christ is not seen by the world after the flesh. Jesus plainly said,

“The world seeth me NO MORE; but ye see me: because I live, ye shall live also” Jn. 14:19 KJV and so Paul writes,

“Though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet from now on know we him NO MORE” 2 Cor. 5:16

Only in His appearing can we know Him living now in His Body, The Church.
His coming began at Pentecost, as it is written,

Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou Me?” Acts 9:4

When Jesus appeared to Saul of Tarsus He had already come to reside in union with His Body the Church.

There is a very practical out-working of the revelation of Christ. It is love.

In seeing Him in His coming, we can begin to love one another by loving Him.

“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from Him, That he who loveth God, love his brother also.” 1 Jn 4:20-21.

You cannot love God and hate your brother because Jesus Christ presently resides in your brother as his very Life right now. We deceive ourselves in thinking that God is far off and separate from our brother. The Lord has come. Christ is in each brother who is truly born of God. Yes, I tell you, even in the one who is ignorant of His presence. So look to Him. Love Him.

You cannot truly love God or His Church without knowing Him in His appearing. If we see Jesus Christ as if He were far away, then we cannot love our brother by His Life.

Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord, You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs!” Jn 21:15-17 LITV

Jesus spoke this three times because He was showing Peter His union with His Sheep.

To feed His sheep is to feed Jesus, and love Jesus.

Jesus said this in many ways.

“The one receiving you receives Me, and the one receiving Me receives Him who sent Me” Mt. 10:40

“The King will say to them, Truly I say to you, Inasmuch as you did it to one of these, the least of My brothers, you did it to Me” Mt. 24:40

I am cut off from God if I am not knowing Him and loving Him in His coming. Look at how Paul is declaring we must love Him in one another by His Spirit.

“If any one doth not love the Lord Jesus Christ–let him be anathema! The Lord hath come!” 1Cor. 16:22 YLT

Maran•atha!
The Lord is come!

See and Believe Into Him

See Him. Believe into Him.

“This is the will of the One sending Me, that everyone seeing the Son and believing into Him should have everlasting Life; and I will raise him up at the last day.”Jn 6:40 LITV

In seeing the Son, the soul is filled with eternal Life. I love how the LITV shows again and again how Jesus was saying believe INTO the Son. Seeing Him transforms the soul.

This transformed soul cannot help but call out to others saying “come and see” the Son. Remember how Jesus’s first words to His disciples were,

“Come and see”Jn. 1:39?

And so, Phillip said to Nathaniel,

“Come and see”Jn. 1:46.

The woman at the well also said, Come and see a man who told me all that I ever did. Can this be the Christ?” Jn. 4:29

My wife Judith was sharing with me how even when our eyes are in perfect health they cannot see unless there is light filling them.

The eye is not sufficient in itself to see. The soul is like the eye in this way. My soul can have correct doctrines and knowledge and have complete health in willingness but until the light of Christ fills this soul, there is no expression of Him.

The soul does not initiate His coming any more than an eye can initiate sight.

The agreement of the soul with the bible does not unlock the unveiling of Christ in you. That is out of order. The Father unveils, causes faith (seeing) to fill the soul. You cannot produce faith by reciting bible verses.

“I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak” 2 Cor.4:13

The faith, is the faith of the Son of God. it is His seeing, filling the soul with light. And it is the person of light living in you. He is the fulness that fills. You or I do not cause Him to do anything in us.

Even the “the Son is not able to do anything from Himself, except what He may see the Father doing. Jn 5:19 LITV, So also “Apart from Me you are not able to do anything. Jn 15:5

Sufficiency is His, it is in Him. And though I wait on Him to know Him, I do not cause His filling or shining. I wait on Him. I look for Him. His appearing is only long in coming when I am not looking for Him, or when my confidence is misplaced. When I think I am the cause or I have something to bring to the table; when I have confidence in things I hold up my sleeve.

Working the works of God is to be filled with a finished work. Doing the truth is to express what has already been worked in Christ.

The one doing the truth comes to the Light, that his works may be revealed, that they exist, having been worked in God.” Jn 3:21

Nothing eternal has its origin in man.

“We have such confidence through Christ toward God; not that we are sufficient of ourselves to reason of anything as from ourselves, but our sufficiency is of God, 2 Cor. 3:4

“And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals. And I heard one of the four living creatures, like a sound of thunder, saying, Come and see” Rev. 6:1-3

“From ‘the parts’ to the whole, from ‘the many’ to THE ONE. From the types&shadows, illustrations, parables, futures hopes and expectations unto HE WHO IS THE EXPECTED END of all of it. The ONE God always had in mind, in view…the real man, Jesus Christ! And we are not brought to more realizations about Him either, no. He Himself has come, AS HIMSELF, and it is indeed “the fulness of times”.

It is like me telling you Mike Tyson is the hardest hitting human on the planet. I testify to you, I witness about this. But you’re not convinced. The “hearing of words” is not sufficient. So I take you to Youtube and show you video after video of Tyson just knocking people out, one after the after. And as you watch the ‘evidence’ is overwhelmingly clear – yes, Tyson is the hardest hitting human ever. You’re convinced and you now agree with my testimony. I have presented overwhelming evidence in the form of types&shadows of this. But watch as many videos as you want, imagine as hard as you can, bring into memory as a reference that fight you were in once in school, do all of this and still you are only in the testimony of Mike Tyson. Allow me to introduce you to the next level of all of this, indeed the final one, and that is where Mike Tyson himself walks into the room and punches you in the face!

Now you have substance!

You have partaken of the substance that is the punching power of Mike Tyson, of which the types&shadows of youtube videos and my own testimony could only point. And you are lights out. And at that moment, in which the substance comes and you’re knocked out by it, all the types&shadows ‘wrap up’, they conclude, they “…become all together useless” (1 co 13:10 YLT), you have absolutely no more use for them.

He, the substance, appears and it is apocalypse. Everything concludes in one instant. It is one thing to not know that Christ is life, that He is truly your only hearts desire. I lived in this state for many years and it was truly death unto death – hell! But then it pleased the Father “reveal the Son”, and He begin to open up the immeasurable testimony that is absolutely everything in the universe of Him. Israel, abraham, isaac, jacob, the promised land, the tabernacle, the ark, noah, creation, adam, etc etc etc. Quite literally everything in the universe is a type&shadow, pointing to Him. The Spirit, and forgive me, lays out His version of my Tyson youtube series in the testimony of Jesus Christ and we are convinced, we are in awe, we marvel! But brothers&sisters, here comes the conclusion of the matter, HE APPEARS! HE APPEARS! He Himself, actually, and it is over! Knocked out, ended. The entire testimony, all of it, wraps up, it concludes “in the light of the knowledge of the glory of God IN THE FACE OF JESUS CHRIST”

The Comforter is Christ in you

You Don’t Live Where The Devil Lives. You are in Christ. He is the Way.

“A highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for the redeemed: the wayfaring men, yea fools, shall not err therein. No lion shall be there, nor shall any ravenous beast go up thereon; they shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there.” Is. 35:8-9 ASV.

Are you being challenged to go out and fight the enemy? Do not go out with them!

Those who are battling the devil lead many off of the high ground of our sure foundation in Christ. Abide in Christ.

“The prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing IN Me” Jn. 14:30

“Now is the judgment of this world: NOW shall the prince of this world be CAST OUT.” Jn. 12:31

The prince of this world was cast out a long while back. It came at the cross. The cross was our end. Of course there are many who dwell in the flesh in earth. But this is not where you stand. You are not of the world even as Christ is not of the world.

“They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world” Jn. 17:14

“When the comforter “is come, He will convict the world concerning sin, and concerning righteousness, and concerning judgment. Concerning sin, because they do not believe INTO Me” (LITV) “Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world HATH BEEN judged” Jn. 16:8-11 YLT.

The enemy is more than man’s definition of “judged.” Our measly idea of “judged” is of someone who has been arrested, convicted but has yet to be put to death. In Christ’s death the enemy has been put to death.

“That through death He might destroy (2673 καταργέω: katargéō) the one having the power of death, (that is, the Devil); and might set these free, as many as by fear of death were subject to slavery” Heb. 2:14-15.

The word “might” does not suggest that Jesus “might have” rendered the devil powerless. As if he also might not have? The only uncertainty here is in the hearts of men. In seeing Him, there is no question of the surety of this “secret place” Ps 91:1. To say that the enemy has any ground brings accusation against Christ Himself. The CLV better communicates the meaning here.

“That through death He should be discarding him who has the might of death, that is the Adversary, and should be clearing those whoever in fear of death, were through their entire life, liable to slavery” Heb. 2:14:16

The KJV translators used the uncertainty of “might” because destruction of the enemy is continual in this realm, in the sense that Soldiers will continue to fight for their life until the end of the war appears to them, or they are dead. Both of which are accomplished in His Appearing. The devil is defeated in those who are knowing Christ in His triumph. In reality all warfare is accomplished.

In Christ the war is over!

Do you dispute this eternal fact? Then the devil is living in your head rent free. It is so grievous to me when precious believers loose sight of Him in His Appearing, just to drag others back to a war that was won long ago.

“Then “the Lawless One” will be revealed, “whom” “the Lord” “will consume” “by the spirit of His mouth,” and He will bring to nought (2673 καταργέω {katargéō) by the brightness of His presence (or coming)” 2 Thess 2:8 LITV Is. 11:4.

Paul was telling the Church that the destruction of the enemy is the same as being “consumed” in His appearing. The enemy (me) is destroyed because we, were the soulish man, the son of perdition standing in the temple of God exalting himself over everything being called God, or object of worship, so as for him “to sit in the temple of God” as God, proclaiming that he himself is God. 2 Thess. 2:4, Dan. 11:36; Eze. 28:2

“I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.” Jn 14:18

The comforter is come. And this comforter comforts. As in,

“Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare IS ACCOMPLISHED that her iniquity is pardoned: for she HATH received of the LORD’S hand double for all her sins” Is. 40:1-2

The Comforter is Christ in you. He is the Gospel. The coming of the Comforter is our end; we are dead with Christ. One of the things the Comforter shows us in His appearing is that our “warfare is accomplished.”

If your warfare is not accomplished, then you have yet to enter into His rest.
And you are not seeing Him.

“Little children, let no one lead you astray; the one practicing righteousness is righteous, even as that One is righteous. The one practicing sin is of the Devil, because the Devil sins from the beginning. For this the Son of God was revealed, that He undo the works of the Devil. Everyone who has been begotten of God does not sin, because His seed abides in him, and he is not able to sin, because he has been born of God” 1 Jn. 3:7-9 LITV.

In Christ you are not able to sin because in Christ you are D E A D;

DEAD! You are already crucified with Christ. The process is over. Their is no hope except in Christ.

Abide in Him. Be occupied with Him. This is no promise of sunshine and gumdrops in your circumstances! He has brought you beyond your end. This is the Gospel!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith Jehovah,” (or “YHWH” TS) “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in YOUR latter end.” Jer. 29:11 ASV

The way we resist the enemy, self, is by abiding where he is not.

Father reveal your Son as “secret place of the most High” Ps 91:1.

Unto The King Eternal

The first kingdom was ruled by the natural, soulish man, Adam. Jesus Christ is our true David. He shall reign forever. This is the kingdom of God. By the work of the cross you have been translated out of the First into the Second.

It is the Spirit Who is speaking of the New Covenant when He writes,

“One king shall be king to them all: and they shall be no more two nations, neither shall they be divided into two kingdoms any more at all: Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions: but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their God. And David my servant shall be king over them; and they all shall have One Shepherd: they shall also walk in My judgments, and observe My statutes, and do them.” EZ 37:22-24. Zechariah also speaks of the Church as the House of David in the Day of The Lord.

“The Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul from spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. And no created one is hidden from his sight, but all are naked and exposed to the eyes of him to whom we must give account” Heb. 4:12-13

This judgement separates two men. The first is at his core a soul, it was me and you. We were rejected from reigning. The Second is the spiritual man, it is Christ. Jesus said,

“many who are first will be last, and the last first.” Mt. 19:30, Mk. 10:31

These two men are also two houses.

Remember how the tabernacle had seven parts: the veil and the things outside speak of the first. The furniture outside the veil was five-fold. But the ark of the testimony within holy of holies testified of the second Man, the New Covenant, the kingdom of our true David, Christ Jesus.

First, the tent of meeting, (its coverings, including the veil) was made, (see Ex. 36:8-38).

Second, “Bezalel made the ark.” Ex. 37:1

This is a magnified a view of Him in His Body.

“THE FIRST tabernacle was prepared, in which was both the lampstand and the table, and the setting out of the loaves, which is called holy” Heb. 9:2.

“But behind THE SECOND veil is a tabernacle, that called Holy of Holies” Heb. 9:3 LITV

This is about God’s separating the outward form from the very Life and power of the Spirit. This same division is also between the tabernacle of Moses (durring the kingdom of Saul) and the tabernacle of David.

These two houses testify of two men.

“It is sown a soulish body, it is raised a spiritual body; there is a soulish body, and there is a spiritual body. So also it has been written, “The” first “man”, Adam, “became a living soul;” the last Adam a life-giving Spirit. Gen. 2:7 But not the spiritual first, but the soulish; afterward the spiritual. The first man was out of earth, earthy. The second Man was the Lord out of Heaven” 1 Cor. 15:44-47.

Seeing the order also clarifies some things concerning the meaning of the garments of the high priest on day of atonement.

All the first coverings in blue, and purple, and crimson, and white is in regard to the outward natural service.

The white garments declare how God doesn’t need the outward natural man. He has what He wants in the spirit of Christ.

The white garment is the ministry of the Spirit. No man. it is Christ alone: “there was none to help”.

“Be not far from Me; for trouble is near; because NO ONE IS THERE TO HELP.” Ps. 22:11

“Who is this coming (out) from Edom(=red Adam Esau) Isaiah 63:1

David writes “Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee” Ps 73:25

“I have trodden the winepress, I alone, and NO MAN of the peoples was with Me” (vs 3)

No man helps God only “the Spirit helps us in our weakness” Rom.8:26

“I look attentively, and there is NONE HELPING, And I am astonished that there is none supporting, And give salvation TO ME doth Mine own arm” Is 63:5 YLT

After atonement was made the High priest came out from the holy of holies, out of heaven, washed then he put on the garments of beauty and glory. Then he came into the camp. Lev. 16:24

This speaks of the Spirit of Christ putting on His Body, the Church.

“Lift up round about thine eyes and see, All of them have been gathered, They have come to thee. I live, sayeth YHWH! Surely all of them as an ornament thou puttest on, And thou bindest them on like a bride” Is. 49:18 YLT.

So as individual souls we all died and have been placed into Christ. He is now our Life, a completely new home. As it is written,

“God settles the solitary in a home;
he leads out the prisoners to prosperity” Ps. 68:6 and also

“Through faith we walk, not through sight– we have courage, and are well pleased rather to be away from the home of the body, and to be at home with the Lord.” 2 Cor. 5:7-8

He has saved us “out of” our soulish “dwelling places” in which we sin.Ez. 37:23. This is not fulfilled after physical death, it is now as we see that we died with Him in the cross.

What is that happened in His death and resurrection? The cross permanently removed the first king from the second.

Acts 13:22 “And removing him (Saul, the kingdom of the first man), He raised up to them David for a king, to whom He also said, witnessing, “I found David” the son of Jesse ” to be a man according to My own heart, who will do ALL My will.” See also 1 Sam. 13:14

The removal of the first king/man was about the work of the cross. So the garments of the first house were left torn.

“Behold , I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, O God. ” Ps. 40:7, Heb. 10:7

The Adamic soul, my soul, says, “I must do do do.”

Hear the heart of the first King:

“I forced myself therefore, and offered a burnt offering” 1 Sam. 13:12.

The soul that is a vessel of the Spirit, is in His rest. The soul in Christ simply says, “Done.”

See the heart of the second:

“I am mute; I do not open my mouth, for it is You who have done it.” Ps. 39:9 ESV
